Vacation Care Entertainment (OSHC)

Vacation Care or sometimes called Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) offers a program of activities for children during the school holidays.

Having a variety of activities to keep the children occupied, active, engaged and learning is not an easy task and I think the staff do a great job of bringing together the activities to cater to the large range of children’s ages.

I want to thank you for searching for vacation care entertainment options and ideas.

Over the years, I have put together several options to cater specifically to OSHC offering a variety of shows and workshops. From funny to educational. Passive to active.

The most popular option over the past 2 years has been:

• The Bubble Show. The bubble show is unique, truly unique in Qld. I am not aware of any similar show. I mention this because I know that educators are looking for “something different” and this show is certainly that. The Bubble Show is all about soap bubbles. Its fun and interactive and has the visual WOW! Factor not found in many other shows.
• Magic Show. The OSHC magic show has been designed to cater for the large age range found at vacation care venues. I have been performing this show for many years. It’s FUNNY! Engaging and highly interactive. A guaranteed success at any OSHC
• Science Show. Again, a unique concept. Science and magic blended together so kids learn while they are having fun. The big difference with my show. No fire, explosions, dangerous chemical. It is a safe show and all of the science/magic is easily replicated so the kids can continue to experiment after I have departed.
• Balloon Twisting Workshop. I will just say, it is big, bright, colourful, creative and very much a ‘hands on’ activity. Kids love it!
• Magic Tuition. The Magic Workshop teaches many different types of tricks that kids can easily learn and includes some free magic tricks for the kids to take home. Who doesn’t like learning magic tricks? Make it part of a magic themed day.
• Bubble Workshop. Its time to get ‘hands on’ with some bubbles. I have a few different options for inside and outside. Some messy, some not. Give me a call to see what option you prefer.

Well there you have it. A mix of show options. All tried, tested and proven to be a success for any vacation care incursion.
